      Can 8.8.2 be digitally signed please?

        The lack of certificate and the reasons why was made clear in the announcement post and on the official downloads page and pages they link to, especially this page

          Thanks Peter. I wasn’t aware of the DigiCert compliance issue. It is a pity but totally understandable in the circumstances.

            It’s even worse that you now need a USB stick / HSM for code signing certificates which makes it even more complicated and expensive.

              UPDATE: With the release of v8.8.7, Notepad++ is once again signed by a GlobalSign-issued certificate, as well as the Notepad++ self-signed certificate.
