Separately set the beginning and the end of selection
-
Hello,
does NP++ offer the following?
I’d like to be able to set the beginning and the end of selection separately. This should/could work like this:
-
I press some key and the current cursor position is stored (in memory) as the beginning of the selection. If there is a current selection, it disappears (not the selected text, just the selection).
-
Now I move the cursor to another location in the file. This might be before or after the the start location. The movement might be performed via arrow keys or via find operations or in other ways – it does not matter.
-
Once I’ve found the desired location, I press another key and the text between the location from 1 and the current location is selected.
Is this possible with NP++ “out of the box”? Or is there a plugin doing that?
Thank you for any hints!
