Remove lines starting by...

Hi there, i have a file with lines starting by #EXTINF (one out every two lines exaxctlt) and i want to remove them. I tried the expression ^#EXTINF.*$ but it deletes everything?! Though there are line break between each lines… How should i proceed? Thanks.

Initial guess: turn off “. matches newline”, otherwise your
.*will greedily match the whole file.
