Macro-Save.

I like macros. they are a time saver when doing repetitive tasks. I, however have yet to find a way to retrieve a saved macro back to the “play macro button”. In other words, if I record a macro I can use the play macro button to replay the macro. If I close Notepad++ the play macro button no longer works to replay the saved macro. I have to mouse to macro then select the saved macro to replay it.
How can I get a saved macro to replay using the play macro button?
