Hi,
As the title says. I have a new installation and I just wanted to see if there was a way to move my work environment form the old PC to the the new one?

Hi Chris
Usually you can just copy the files in the appdata folder to the new machine.
Path: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++ <-- in here are the backup files which store the session / opened tabs.
I would copy the whole folder and replace the folder on the new machine, as far as I know this should work if the installed version of n++ is the same.
I don’t know if this is possible if you have installed a newer version on the new pc.Regards,
DanielIf this copy process screws anything up in n++, just delete the whole appdata folder and restart n++. it creates a new folder and u are back in business again.
