Where to announce new plugin versions in future?
-
I was just about checking the current process for updating a plugin. (Quite some while ago I did ao :-)
Looking to http://docs.notepad-plus-plus.org/index.php?title=Plugin_Development tells a link to SF http://sourceforge.net/projects/notepad-plus/forums but there all forums are READ ONLY due to the move to github. -> Fine but should be corrected.I searched further in http://docs.notepad-plus-plus.org/index.php?title=Plugin_Central and found another link to SF plugin development forum which doesn’t work anymore broken_link(http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=482781|) I guess it should be http://sourceforge.net/p/notepad-plus/discussion/482781/ -> ok should also be corrected…
The next attempt is with http://www.brotherstone.co.uk/npp/pm/#developer and here also i found the outdated link to http://sourceforge.net/projects/notepad-plus/forums/forum/482781/ -> Hmmm
Now looking into this forum I see several points which tells me that this forum here will be the right place to announce new plugins and versions.
If all agree [please comment] we may want to update the reference to this forum?
Regards, Mattes

I would vote for https://notepad-plus-plus.org/community/category/5/plugin-development
