On previous installations of Notepad++, large blocks of text have naturally fit onto the screen with no need to scroll right. Now, I’ve installed the software on a new computer, and whenever I enter large amounts of text, it just continues to the right forever unless I manually press Enter, which is not an ideal solution. How do I change the display settings such that the editor automatically moves text to the next line without the need to scroll extremely far over to the right side to keep reading it? I’ve looked through the settings listed under View but can’t seem to find anything about this.

what you are looking for is called word wrap and yes, it’s in the view menu.
