Changing Foreground text in Style Configurator

Hi,
I have been trying to get my settings for foreground color to change for my Markdowns & when I highlight text.

I am able to change the background color, but the foreground color won’t change from black.

I verified that Global Foreground Color is unchecked, my file is .HTML, and I have changed the foreground color in multiple areas.

If I enable global foreground color it will change to whatever that is, but I was hoping I could have multiple foreground colors.

Is this possible?
