undo is acting buggy

Hi, I am having a problem lately where ‘undo’ will revert back past many changes I have made instead of going one step at a time. I don’t know how to reproduce it because it seems to do it randomly.
I have Windows 7 64bit.
If I close Notepad++ and reopen it, it’s usually fine again for awhile. -

Here is what it says right now but I’ve closed and reopened it- do I need to copy it after it acts up again?
