In previous versions I defined my updater settings manually in the way:
      Proxy: <username>:<password>@<proxy>
      Port: <port>
(Did this for Notepad++ Updater and the Plugin Manager)

With notepad 6.8.8 the settings of the Updater are not stored an the updater failed. (setting the proxy and port, save the settings and reopen the settings only the standard settings are entered.)
For the Plugin Manager there was no need to define the proxy settings any more.

With notepad 6.9 the settings of the Updater get now stored, but the updater now failes with the errror:
      curl error
schannel: failed to receive handshake, SSL/TLS connection failed
The Plugin Manager still works without any settings.

Also tried this way of proxy setting: http://<username>:<password>@<proxy>:<port>/

Any Ideas what to do to use the integrated update of Notepad++?
Why I had to set the proxy settings in the Notepad++ Updater and not in the Plugin Manager?
(Would be user friendlier when no configuration of proxy settings also for the Notepad++ Updater would work like in the Plugin Manager.)

      My system is Win7x64 SP1.
      Thx
