How are print margins set? Can rulers be set?

When printing an NP++ document the print margin is about 1/2". I would like to make it 1". Is there a way to do this without adding spaces before each line?
Also is there a ruler of some sort that can be set at the top of the typing window to indicate how far in a word might be typed?
