Notepad++ Accessing D:\ every time it starts

Hi all,
On windows when I want to quickly launch Notepad++ for note, it always accesses my d:\ drive and I have to wait for the HDD’s to spin up.
Is there an option in Notepad++ to disable this so I don’t have to wait for the spin up?
Notepad++ is installed on my C:\ which is a SSD and there is no reason to have to access D:\

could it be that it tries to access files on d: which are automatically opened once npp started?
If not, software like procmon can be used to find out which file gets accessed. Maybe this gives
an indication what is going on.Cheers
