There is a backup directory under npp installation dir.
If backup was enabled you might find an older version there.Cheers

Thank you, Claudia. I did not have a backup file. I can’t find how to do that at the moment.

you can define it under Settings->Preferences->Backup.
One word of warning, don’t set the interval to small as it might happen
that a long running task (like xml rebuild of a big file) on one side
and frequent backups on the other side corrupt the document.Cheers

Thanks again, Claudia. I only do simple text files to include Project Blue Book
old case comments and amateur analysis. It said every 7 seconds. I chose
Verbose backup. I changed the interval to 60 seconds.Sawasdee,
