Disable/Remove "Sort by Name" in Doc Switcher?

Hello,
Is there a way to disable or remove the “Sort by Name” option in the Doc Switcher? I open my documents in the specific order that I want to have them listed in. However, if I accidentally click in the “Name” field, it sorts them alphabetically. The only thing I can do then is click it again to sort them reverse alphabetically, but that’s not really helping. I cannot disable the sorting, without having to close the entire application and reopen it again, which is rather frustrating.
