Howto copy results with metadata from "Find result" pane?
-
Hello, previously when one searches for all occurrences of a term/phrase we would get the result with filename on top and then the lines with the matches, including the line number. This is still so, but when I want to copy the result, it only copies the line contents and not the metadata as well (filename and line numbers). I could not find an option to turn on the previous way of copying the data from the “Find result” pane.
Any hints on this? If needed I can add screenshots accordingly to better explain what I am asking.
Cheers

Anyone?
It would be great if the two options are there when right clicking:
“Copy selection”
“Copy selection with metadata”And in the settings an option to chose which one Ctrl+C will do by default.

Hello,
Try CTRL-A in the results window and then CTRL-C.
CTRL-V will paste everything you see.BR
