Keyboard Shortcut for moving current tab?
-
Hello.
I usually have a lot of files open at a time, so finding them are a pain. Often times, I’ll just go back to the source, and re-click on the file to open it in Notepad++.
What I’d like to do, is move my latest opened files (tabs) to the right. So I know where my latest stuff is. I could probably set a macro or something, but to do that, is there a keyboard shortcut to move the current tab left or right (or even all the way to the right)?
Thanks.

You could also turn off tabs and try the Window Manager plug-in which keeps the open files in a list that you can sort by filename, extension, or full path. You just click on a file to make it the current one.
If you know which file you want to work on next by name, it works pretty well.

Hello,
“is there a keyboard shortcut to move the current tab left or right (or even all the way to the right)?”
Currently there isn’t such command available thus there is also no way to have a shortcut.
The good news is that in the new N++ version (when it becomes available) this commands will be available.BR
