    Every time i use numbers it change's it to weird things like 5 into a =

      Every thing i type is fine but when i use numbers it changes it to = and other wierd stuff i have changes the encoding in notepadd++ but it nevers changes anything. it happens when i use notepad and wordpad. if i wanna type 0.5 it will look like this https://gyazo.com/af6aa6a35c8873131dd73aa6099b3c7c

      I have no idea what to do please help

        Are you typing numbers from the number pad on the right side of the keyboard or from the number keys at the top row of the keyboard. If you are using the number pad, make sure NumLock isn’t turned on (try pressing the NumLock key on the number pad to see if that fixes things). On some PCs you can set whether the NumLock is on by default by changing a setting in the BIOS.

          No, it does the same thing if i use the top row of numbers too. even if i copy and paste a number it always show’s the wrong things. I have no idea how it even got like this.
