    Hello people,

    I have been experiencing some problems with the Macro functionality.

    These are my steps I take, I record a macro, and then save it. My specific keys I chose were Ctrl + Shift + L.
    When I tried it, it worked perfectly, even when closing and opening Notepad++. However, when I copy text from another program and go into Notepad++ to use my Macro, it pastes what I have copied instead of the Macro I created and saved.

    Any suggestions?

      You may have trigger a paste command with an empty text while you were recording your macro.

      You can debug your macro : have a look in the C:\Users\luke.skywalker\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\shortcuts.xml file
      here is mine.

      <Macros>
          <!--Trim Trailing and save - Alt+Shift+S -->
          <Macro name="Trim Trailing and save" Ctrl="no" Alt="yes" Shift="yes" Key="83">
              <Action type="2" message="0" wParam="42024" lParam="0" sParam="" />
              <Action type="2" message="0" wParam="41006" lParam="0" sParam="" />
          </Macro>
      </Macros>

      Cmd 42024 => <!–Trim Trailing Space - -->

      Try to post yours
