      There is a bug with copy\paste operation on new versions of N++
      That is why I use the eldest version.
      The problem is with Logitech Setpoint program which support all Logitech mouses.
      I use the copy\paste commands via mouse buttons.
      It warks everiwhere excluding new versions of Notepad++

      Notepad++ v7.2.2 (32-bit)
      Build time : Nov 27 2016 - 16:31:07
      Path : C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe
      Admin mode : ON
      Local Conf mode : OFF
      OS : Windows 7
      Plugins : mimeTools.dll NppConverter.dll NppExport.dll PluginManager.dll

        Word of advice: software developers are sensitive when the word “bug” is thrown around too easily.
        As a user what you see is a “problem” or a “question”. Only once the developer agrees that this is unintentional and the fault of his software it becomes a “bug”.

        Try to be more informative.
        Does copy fail or paste fail?
        Can you copy elsewhere and paste to NPP or vice versa?
        Can you copy with the mouse and paste with the keyboard or vice versa?

          It is also good not to pronounce something a “bug” when perhaps it exists only on your system. I have a Logitech Setpoint-driven mouse, and if I assign copy and/or paste to its extra buttons (which I never thought of doing, actually…), those functions work correctly, in Notepad++ 7.2.2.

          What exactly are you doing?
