EOL Conversion file size limit?

Hi!
I´m using Notepad++ 7.31 Win32, and trying to do a EOL Conversion.
My file size is 4.400.000 lines (220 MB total) and replacing all LF (Unix)
EOL to CR LF (Windows) stops at line 1.048.576 (1024 x 1024).
Result: 1.048.576 lines with CR LF ending and remaining ones LF.Is this a bug, a known limit, Win32 limit?
