      Just started to use Compare 2.0 plug in. It left me with a left and right window pair. How do I close one until the next time I need to compare files? I can shift to one side or the other, but N++ starts with the split in the middle.

        Have you cleared the compare (“Clear Active Compare” from Compare plugin menu)?
        How did you start the compare? From single view (using “Set First” command or directly “Compare”) or from double view (by first manually moving one of the files to the other view)?

          @pnedev
          The “Clear Active/All Compare(s)” is gray, not active.
          I started it from the menu (was in 1.51, then upgraded the plugin to 2.00) Compare.

            @Ed-Lipson ,
            I’ll need more info to be able to help you.
            What’s your version of N++? 64-bit or 32-bit?
            I’m not sure I understand this:

            I started it from the menu (was in 1.51, then upgraded the plugin to 2.00) Compare.

            You’ve had Compare plugin version 1.51?
