Request: "Yes to all" when open files are changed
-
I am using notepad++ as my editor and it’s been awesome! I have some 30 files open and when I change my branch in git, all of them change.
I get a popup saying that the file has changed, do I want to re-open it. It does this for all the files and I have to say yes 30 times.
I wish there was an option to say “Yes to all” for this. I just thought having this might be helpful for people who keep changing their branch often. -
I haven’t tried this on a large number of files, but it seems like you might be able to hold down the Y (for ‘Yes’) key until all the prompting stops. You will then end up with a string like this (yyyyyyyyyyyyyy) in your current editor file, but a simple Undo should remove those effects.
This could limit your pain until the point when your suggestion is implemented.

I support this request. I program machines with N++, but the final adjustment and testing have to be done in the IDE of the machine or the robot. After this press for each file “Yes”. I think a “Yes, to all” and also a “No, to all” would be very nice.

@Scott-Sumner This does limit the pain somewhat. Thanks!
Is this right place for this kind of request? Or is there some place else that I can request this feature?

…to do it officially
Best to see if it already exists first!
