I was wondering if there’s a plug in that would allow notepad++ to act like “word processor” when a Unicode document is opened by adding a “formatting toolbar” that allow a user to high-light a character and click the subscript or superscript icon to remap the latin1 characters into their Unicode superscript and subscript equivalents…
Also a Unicode “greek character lookup icon,” and a “math symbol lookup” would be helpful as well…

I realized later that most of unicode characters are missing for superscript and subscript.

However, they include a complete numerical superscript and subscript character set. For example:
      X⁴

What is needed is a character search toolbar like symbsearch:

      symbsearch

      symbsearch source code
