notepad pluginfolder

hello i have a problem i want to replace another editor With notepad++. i can rename notepad++.exe and it start s when i place te confige files in the folder. The problem is there allready is a pluginfolder in that folder and notepad++ allways ask me to remove the incompatible pluginfiles.some ideas?
