      hi guys, i`m working in a project that limit my file size to 100k or 200k of plain text, unfortunately i cannot find any way to monitoring the size when i save, i really have problems if i need to save, open the file and see manually the file size, i need to compress text cutting off words and changing to small others, its very important because is something simple , something that can be displayed in status bar on the bottom of the app. plz, someone can help showing me how to archive this functionality ?

        @Eduardo-Fernandes-Larrubia

        Aren’t the length field in the statusbar or the View->Summary from the menu helpful?

        Cheers
        Claudia

            The file size is shown all the time within the status line at the bottom of the Notepad++ window. The image posted by Claudia shows “length: 628 lines: 21”.
