When I use column mode with the keyboard (alt+shift+arrowkeys), sometimes my selected text would get replaced by non-alphanumeric character when I lift my finger off alt.

I think I just figured out why. When I use the inverted-T arrow keys, column mode works fine. But when I use the arrow keys on the numpad (numlock off of course), that is when my selection gets replaced.

I guess this is expected since alt+<numbers on numpad> is used to enter non-keyboard characters. BUT it would make more sense if that would only work when numlock is on.

Another issue I found is that replace within selection is not possible when the selection is in column mode.
