Selection moving everything

Whenever i try to mouse select a certain part of my code and sometimes…move off the line and go to the upper/lower one, my whole position moves at the start of the upper/lower one. This is REALLY annoying, is there a way to disable it?

You mean, to prevent horizontal scrolling while selecting text? That would be great.
