"Queue overflowed" dialog

I’m at the current version of NP++ (v7.4.2) and lately I’ve been seeing dialogs popping up saying only “Queue overflowed”. Several of them can pop up at once, and this morning I saw three of them with the computer sitting idle all night.
Has anybody seen this?/What causes it?/How do I get rid of the errors?

I get this message often. The only thing that gets rid of it is if I restart notepad++.
