Using Sort, I'm loosing lines....

I’m sorting a fairly large file ( around 250K lines and 32mb in size, all text). I had it work once and then started working on another file it looses most of the lines.

I go to "edit/line operations/Sort lines by lexicographically Ascending/Descending. After clicking on that the size of the file is 1037 lines and 130kb…

I’ve closed and reopened, etc.

Any suggestions ? I’d really like to use the embedded sort function !

Try turning off automatic backups (Settings > Preferences > Backup > Enable session snapshot and periodic backup) to see if that is affecting it at all.
