I am having a strange issue I have never run across before with Notepad++. I am running the latest version of Notepad++ 7.5.1. We have a propriety program in house an it generates .LOG files. Recently I have had to start looking through and reading these files. The problem is they come up blank in Notepad++. I can open them in Notepad and they display fine. I thought maybe it was file extension, so I changed .LOG to .txt but it doesn’t make any difference. Something in the file is causing Notepad++ to not be able to read it.

Any idea what I can do to get them to display properly in Notepad++?

    Thanks!
