Stop switching documents when reloading because file changed on disk

Is there a way to make Notepad++ stop switching to the document it loads after a file has changed on disk? I want to be notified and I usually want it to be updated, but I hardly ever want to switch from the document I am currently working on. Is there an option for this? If not, please add the option!
