    Notepad ++ which windows version?

      Hi. I am using mac os and want to be able to have notepad on my rebooted machine. But my question is; which windows version is compatible with notepad ++. Dont need the latest for other uses since I run everything else on mac platform.

        Everything starting from windows xp BUT why not using something like wine?
        It doesn’t require to install windows as it does emulate the windows api on mac os.
        So everything runs within mac os.
