      Hi!
      I am new to notepad++ and therefore would like some help concerning the looks of notepad++.
      I wanted to know if it was possible to change the standard white background color of the program to gray/black -ish.

        Either use predefined themes or change the background color independently.
        Both ways can be achieved by using Settings->Style Configurator menu.
