Cursor in the middle of letters/character

Would be much easier if I could post a picture but basically my cursor is appearing in the middle of letters/characters.Also, randomly the text shifts over to the left and then back to the right quickly. Have no idea what is going on.

Thanks for the response! So I have a 4k screen and the scaling isn’t great so I changed it to “override High DPI scaling.” And this caused the issue. Very weird.
