All codes deletes automatically, plz helpl me to recover it

i am frustate too much with notepad++, is there any solution to overcome this problems.
it has been more than 6-7 times within 2 months. Whatever the code i have written in np++, suddenly it stopped working and close the program and when i restart np++ , all data is clear from that file in which i was working earlier. Plz help me or suggest me any other software which is better than np++. i hate Notepad ++. -

Help us help you. What do you mean by “clear”? Do you mean the file is totally empty with a length of zero? Or something else, like maybe the file is seemingly the length it used to be, but it is filled with NUL characters?

yes, the file is totally empty with a length of zero size. how it happens and why i don know. Even the file have size of 0 byte.
