      Notepad++ has worked well from me but it is now not doing the spellcheck…

      I have reinstalled both the 32 and 64 bit versions with no avail. DSpellCheck.dll shows as registered and the spelling icon appears on the menu bar, but no red-squiggling line.

      Notepad++ v7.5.2 (64-bit)
      Build time : Nov 26 2017 - 23:37:05
      Path : C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe
      Admin mode : OFF
      Local Conf mode : OFF
      OS : Windows 10 (64-bit)
      Plugins : DSpellCheck.dll mimeTools.dll NppConverter.dll PluginManager.dll

      Thanks.

        Maybe you are facing issue https://github.com/notepad-plus-plus/notepad-plus-plus/pull/3943.
        Which speller is configured under DSpell settings? Hunspell or Aspell?

        You could also check https://github.com/Predelnik/DSpellCheck/issues and maybe report your issue there, if this is a new one.

          It seems that the Hunspell dictionaries did not install. Just a simple matter of selection the dictionary required and install.

          Now the nice red squiggles are everywhere telling me how bad my typing is… :-).

          Thanks.
