windows crashed.. lost all my tabs..

i realise this is totally my own stupidity, but for some months I’ve had about 30 tabs open with notes I’ve taken… some of them were not even filed away, others where filed but unsaved… Each time I’ve closed notepad++ and reopened it, everything has been just as I left it… this lead me to a false sense of security thinking everything would always be just as it was… (my dumb, agreed)…
Anyhow, yesterday windows crashed while I had notepad++ open (this is not the first time this has happened, and previously notepad++ has opened just as normal, with all tabs exactly as previously)… only today when i opened it, i only got one new tab open, and all the rest have vanished, gone, with so many notes lost! Is there any chance t all that my opened unsaved tabs could be floating around somewhere in the ether, somehow recoverable??? I’m using the portable version and have lost literally weeks of painstaking note taking…

Looks like I found them!! They are in the backup folder… panic over!
