Recent Instability in Notepad++ 7.5.6

I’m not sure what’s happened, but with a recent reinstall, I’m getting a BSOD error out of Notepad++ about once every two days that results in data loss.
It seems to happens during active edits - as in, I’'m moving the cursor or making a selection in text or otherwise, DOING some thing (it doesn’t just happen while I’m idle).
I don’t know if I should back off to 7.5.5, if this is something that is known and is being addressed, if I should try to uninstall and reinstall?
There doesn’t seem to be much point in guessing at a fix because I can’t seem to cause the error at will.
Windows 10 - Home 64-bit - 1709 - Build 16299.309
The only plug-in I have installed is NPPExec 64-bit.

I didn’t observe such issues with this version of N++. I’m using a similar configuration except of NppExec. Which version of NppExec do you use? 0.6 beta1?
