    Recreate session from backup folder

      I’ve been running a backup software on the Notepad++ backup folder as in the past I’ve rebooted and the session was cleared; luckily that time there wasn’t much unsaved content. Well… It just happened again but strange thing the backup folder seemed intact. I discovered session.xml held the TOC (Table of Contents) of what’s displayed in Notepad++; I since added it to the backup job that I use on the backup folder.

      Is there a way to recreate the session from the backup folder content?

        Seems like a nice feature. FAQ Desk: Feature Request will point you where to post feature requests to give a higher probability of them being noticed and tracked.

          Maybe worth pointing out that periodic autosaving of the working session is fairly easy to script…
