I normally enable “Remember current session for next launch” and “Enable session snapshot and periodic backup”. I also often open Npp with -multiInst and -nosession to do some quick edit and close without disrupting my normal session. What I found is that, if I don’t have any other Npp instance running, then opening Npp with -multiInst and -nosession would disable “Enable session snapshot and periodic backup”. Now, if I close this instance, and open Npp as normal (without command-line switches), then snapshot would stay disabled.
Is this intended? I would think that the snapshot option should be disabled for the instance with -nosession only, and revert to the saved session when I go back to a Npp instance that uses a session.
