        @crystalfp

        Sure. Put your mouse cursor in the Find result panel and hold the Ctrl key while scrolling the mouse wheel–you do have a wheel mouse, don’t you? (Not sure how you can accomplish this without one!)

          Hello, @crystalfp, @scott-sumner and All,

          Very easily with the usual shortcuts : Ctrl and the + / - keys, on the numeric keypad !

          And, of course, the default Ctrl + / shortcut restores the default zoom value

          Best Regards,

          guy038

            Hello @guy038 ,

            I tried your keyboard advice (after clicking inside the Find result window to give it input focus), but I get no zoom-in or zoom-out behavior. Of course your advice works perfectly well when an editor tab has input focus…

              @Scott-Sumner,

              Like @guy038, I was able to get the Ctrl +, Ctrl -, and Ctrl / to work in the Find result window.

                Hi, @crystalfp, @scott-sumner, @peterjones and All,

                Very strange, indeed !? I, even, succeeded to have three different levels of zoom :

                • A first one, for files in the main view

                • A second one, for tabs in the secondary view

                • A third one for the Find result panel

                Quite nice, isn’t it !

                Moreover, instead of the keyboard shortcuts, you can use the alternate method : Ctrl + an upwards/downwards move of the mouse wheel ;-))

                Here is my Debug Info :

                Notepad++ v7.5.6 (32-bit)
                Build time : Mar 19 2018 - 00:26:59
                Path : D:@@\756\notepad++.exe
                Admin mode : OFF
                Local Conf mode : ON
                OS : Windows XP (32-bit)
                Plugins : ComparePlugin_2.0.dll DSpellCheck.dll LuaScript_0.71.17.dll mimeTools.dll NavigateTo_1.12.2.0.dll NppConverter.dll nppcrypt_1.0.1.3.dll NppExport.dll NppTextFX.dll PreviewHTML.dll PythonScript.dll VIsimulator.dll

                Scott, I really don’t see where is the problem !

                Cheers,

                guy038

                  @guy038

                  I tried a different keyboard and now the numpad shortcuts are working for the Find result panel.

                  While I was experimenting I noticed that even if I change the key assignment to SCI_ZOOMIN, SCI_ZOOMOUT, and SCI_SETZOOM in the Shortcut Mapper, only the original numpad shortcuts work in the Find result panel. I’m not surprised by this, just something to note…

                  Since I have a wheel on my mouse, I will just continue changing the zoom level in and out (of the two views and the find-result panel) that way. :-)
