XMLTools not compatible with Notepad++ 7.5.8 64-bit
-
Hi
I’ve installed Notepad++ and Plugin Manager both 64-bit. Then used Plugin Manager to install XML Tools 2.4.9.2. However, when Notepad++ starts I get “XMLTools.dll is not compatible with the current version of Notepad++.” Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks

I don’t see this problem on win10 with the installationof XML Tools 2.4.9.2 from PluginManager. Maybe you want to create an issue at https://github.com/morbac/xmltools/issues therefore and releases are available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-plugins/files/XML Tools/Xml Tools 2.4.9 Unicode/

You might have missed step number 4 in the Install text file. Once I copied those 6 dlls to the NPP root file, it was all good.
Hope this helps. -
I faced same issue as Andrew, What Rajeev suggested worked for me.

I found that this did not help but I was able to add the x86 version.

I have tried several options, and it worked when I made folder “XMLTools” in "plugins"with XMLTools.dll in it.

@arni992 Thank you, your solution worked for me!

XMLTool, Xml Tools 2.4.9.2 x64 Unicode.zip.
Once you unzip the Xml Tools 2.4.9.2 x64 Unicode.zip then you will see the folder structure below.
C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\2.4.9.2 x64 UnicodeOpen the dependencies folder. You will find all the dlls.
Copy all the dll to the folder consisting of Notepad++.exe, except XMLTools.dll in Notepad++ plugins folder.
