How to view "spiritual quotes"
-
Sorry if this has been asked before (I couldn’t find it though).
I have just upgraded Notepad++ and the change.log says:
“Add several spiritual quotes and a subtle Easter egg in the source code”
The Easter egg, I found on the Internet how to unwrap it, but how can I see the spiritual quotes?
Thanks. -
start np++ with the argument -qnrandom to get a random quote every time you launch np++
eg:
notepad++.exe -qnrandom -
@Meta-Chuh said:
-qnrandom…every time you launch…
…and then repeat that over and over many times to see ALL the quotes…
Or have a look at the quote section of this file…search it for “quote” to easily find the section. The quotes are a fascinating feature of Notepad++ (dripping sarcasm).
@José-Miguel-del-Río , did you truly find Don Ho’s recent easter egg and apparently the one he is most-proud of? (pooling sarcasm)

More info:
Type the word “random” into a Notepad++ editor tab, select the entire word, and invoke About Notepad++ from the ? menu (or press its shortcut, usually F1) – this will invoke the ghost-typing feature to show a random quote.
