Macro: problem to indent
-
Hy
I use Np++ 7.6
I note a difference between when I digit indented charcaters normally and when I digit the same characters when recording a macro.If I begin to digit indented characters(say starting in the third column) and then press return, the cursor automatically goes to the indentation of the line above (i.e. the third column again)
If I do this while I’m recording a macro, the cursor goes to the beginning of the new line and doesn’t keep the indentation. How can I record a macro keeping the indentation I want? -
You may find the information in this thread of interest.

What is the point of saying this? Nobody is going to use such an old version.

There wouldn’t be any news unless there is an open issue for it. See here: https://github.com/notepad-plus-plus/notepad-plus-plus/issues
