My Run Macro for Python Doesn't Keep Created Windows Open
-
Currently, I’m using: C:\Python37\pythonw.exe “$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)” -i
It DOES open up a command line window, which appears for a moment, then closes. However, the program I’m trying to open makes its own window and should start running, it just… doesn’t.
Edit: I also tried it with python.exe

give it a try by using
cmd /k C:\Python37\pythonw.exe “$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)” -i
if this doesn’t work, what UI framework are you using?
Tkinter pyqt, wxpython, kivy, beeware … ? -
This seems to work. The window immediately closes, but the python shell remains, so my assumption is that there’s a bug I’m missing.

I can’t say for sure as I haven’'t investigated how npp starts external process.
What gui framework are you using? -
The default one? I wasn’t aware there were others.

Now the question would be, what is the default one.
Afaik, Tkinter as well as ctypes comes with python and maybe
packages like anaconda bundle something in addition.
