      Hi, I was really enjoying NP++ as a new user till after updating to the latest version(7.7.1) all my input are just deleted!
      I had like 10 tabs open in the old version and was referring to them frequently to modify. Now all are deleted.
      Is this normal? Is there a way to recover it?

        difficult to say as we don’t know how it has been “installed” before you updated it.
        Check backup directory, either in %APPDATA%\notepad++ or npp install directory.
        Again, this depends on how you installed it.
