Tab key position is not same notepadd++ and notepad

for the normal, I use tab key to arrangement text location.
but I saw the text location is not same Windows notepad location.
my text file format is windows format, and my NP++ version is v7.5~7.7.1 64bit and 32bit. (maybe early version is same issue.)how to let position are same the location between NP++ and Windows notepad, when I use tab key to arrangement text location.

not 100% sure I understand what you are trying to achieve but …
could it be that you are referring to the fact the MS notepad uses a tab width of 8
whereas npp uses 4?
If so, goto settings->preferences->language and set the tab size accordingly.
