How to go to 'bookmark' ?

Tried going (with Notepad++ v7.6.4) to a bookmark with ‘Ctrl-F2’, and get ‘black box’ popup (which shortly fades away) with a vertical sliding button, but no move to bookmark.
Thoughts?

could it be that a plugin has hijacked this shortcut?
Goto shortcut mapper and check if more than one function is using it.

As it happens, the same ‘Ctrl-F2’ popup image comes up on desktop when all app windows are closed.
Looks similar to the F1 ‘Volume Control’ image shown at https://nutsandboltsspeedtraining.com/powerpoint-tutorials/function-keys-not-working/ .
Guess we will just keep chipping away.
