    How do I get NP++ to enter characters via hex codes?

      For example, the hex code for the character à is “00E0” according to Code page 437. How can I get Notepad++ to enter characters via hex code?

        what you could do is to use the character panel from edit menu.
        The only other way I know is to enter via alt+numbers from numkey but then
        you have to use the decimal version like alt+0224
