Render FF/FormFeed/#12 as a Separator line
-
?is there any setting in N++
so the character (FF/FormFeed, ASCII 12)
be rendered as Separator-Line in the text?(for cosmetic purpouses only, no text change)
(as in Ultraedit) -
is there any setting in N++
builtin, no. As I haven’t used Ultraedit, other than just to see how it does sort
some lines some time ago I don’t know what UE does. Maybe posting
a screenshot to see if this is something a plugin might be able to do?
Image can just be copied/paste into a post, easy as pie. :-) -

Here is a screenshot
remember…
each line separator is a FF/ASCII#12 in the text that is rendered as a line…
(the auto-separator before each function/class is another matter that I will bring here also ;-) )The ideal would be a option in Preferences
(or in UDL definition)
where we can set a string that will be rendered as a line -
Seems like this would have to be something Scintilla needs to support before Notepad++ could even think about supporting it. So I think the best answer to the original question is “No”.
